not for first time skiers. it's easy and short slopes, but there is no bunny hill, and the main slope how ever easy it is was too much for my wife who had never skied before and pretty much ruined the day.
Great place to learn how to ski at a great price. Love love loved this place. The lift operators were so nice and the bathrooms are kept very well. I loved learning how to ski out here. I also noticed a little ice skating area outside, so that is also a great little perk.
We go there every year for Hard Rockers holiday. Me and the wife got hitched there. Best day of my life and couldn't have been a better place. Silverton Colorado
Pocket ski area ideal for novice to beginner skiers a short walk from town. We especially like being able to see the entire hill to keep an eye on our kids. Great staff!
Family oriented, low-key. Pull up your car and ski. We love heading to Silverton for a day of fun and beauty in the mountains. Trails for x-country ski and an outdoor ice skating rink. We stayed until the moon came up.
Nice older lodge. The kitchen needs a complete overhaul and bathrooms need changing tables. Great location and views. Months after a signed contract the city did jack up the price, which was bad, but they need the $ for updates so.. ok.
This little slice of heaven is just that, little and amazing! When we went here we wanted to get our feet wet while at 9000 feet and we had a blast! Everyone was super friendly and they even let us build some hits off to the side, which never happens at our home resort. Would recommend if your looking for hot laps while in Silverton!
